Insurance glossary
This library is the short list of insurance words Stockton and Central Valley customers ask us to say in plain English. Ten terms are named here. Five have a definition on this site today: earthquake insurance and the California Earthquake Authority, the surety bond, workers' compensation, liquor liability, and the contractor license bond. The other five are personal-lines words. Those definitions live on Via Rapida Services, the personal-lines side of this same licensed agency, and the names below link there. More terms are still being written and will be added to this page as each one is finished.
Each definition on this site cites the California code or the public agency page it rests on, links to the product page for that line, and stays in ordinary words. Nothing here is a quote.
