Which California restaurant, bar, and food guides are published?
Published 2026-10-06 by Insurance City Agency, LLC, CA License #6003045. Leer en español
This index points at the food-service guides already on Insurance City. A kitchen with employees needs workers compensation under California Labor Code section 3700. An ABC license, when alcohol is sold, is a different filing from that compensation policy. This page does not print a premium.
Which food-service guides are on this index?
The statewide pages are the brewery and taproom guide and the restaurant workers-comp guide. City restaurant pages stay linked for the local account. A panadería and Mexican market has its own English page, paired with the existing Spanish taquería and panadería guide.
| Operation | Where to read next |
|---|---|
| Brewery, brewpub, and taproom | Brewery and taproom insurance in California. Earlier Spanish bar-and-brewery guide: cervecerías y bares. |
| Restaurant workers compensation | Restaurant workers comp in California |
| Full restaurant program | Restaurant insurance checklist |
| Restaurant or taqueria, by city | Stockton, Modesto, Fresno |
| Bar in Stockton | Bar and restaurant insurance in Stockton |
| Panadería and Mexican market | English statewide page. Spanish: taquerías y panaderías |
| Food truck in Stockton | Food truck insurance in Stockton |
Does a restaurant package include workers compensation?
No. The compensation filing is its own policy and, for policies starting on or after September 1, 2024, its own set of WCIRB classes. Read that split on the restaurant workers-comp page. Liquor liability is a third question, on liquor liability. Shops that are not kitchens are on shops, salons, and offices.
